AYESAŞ is involved in a Turkish Navy program called GENESİS, G-Class (US Oliver Hazard Perry Class) Frigate Combat Management System Modernization Program (G‑GCMP), to modernize the combat management system of the G-Class Frigates.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Within the scope of this program, Turkish Navy intends to modernize the G-Class Frigate’s existing on-board Radar Video Processing and Automatic Detection and Tracking (RVP/ADT) system with a modern (and COTS based) Radar Integrated Automatic Target Detection and Tracking (OTOHETTS) system. This modernization program includes the integration of the OTOHETTS with the following sensors:

  • AN/SPS-49 V (4)

·        AN/SPS-55

  • Mk92 Mod-2 CAS-S  (Search Antenna)
  • Navigation Radar
  • IFF-SPS49
  • IFF-CAS
  • Ship’s own navigation sensors (via GENESİS G-Class Frigate Combat Management System (G-GCMS) interface)
  • GPS (via G-GCMS interface)
