AYESAS, together with THALES Netherlands, provides a Maritime solution, which is a large scale and fully Integrated Maritime Surveillance System (IMSS), to enable Turkish Navy to establish and maintain the recognized maritime tactical picture along the coastal waters of Turkey.

  • IMSS comprises the following sites and functions:
  • Local surveillance sites,
  • Fleet Communications and tactical data exchange site,
  • Headquarters tactical data interface connections, and tactical display systems
  • Data Fusion Center,
  • Integration to TAFICS (Turkish Armed Forces Integrated Communication System) network.

AYESAS has two main responsibilities within IMSS project:

Communication Subsystem: AYESAS is providing a reliable ship-shore Communications Subsystem to establish fast, secure and survivable communications among the Fusion Center and fixed surveillance units/ships at sea and Maritime Command Control and Information System (MCCIS) units of relevant Command Headquarters.

Integration: AYESAS is also responsible for the provision of Tactical Display System and the integration of Communications Subsystem with the TAFICS network. AYESAS has been providing the necessary hardware and software for the integration of Surveillance Sites to the TAFICS network. Transfer of fused data (recognized picture) to national MCCIS is also required for display purposes.
