Automatic Target Detection and Tracking System (OTOHETTS) Project

The automatic target tracking system provides an easily understandable and consistent air and surface image, composed of air and surface trails, through the fusion of analog data received from search radars and the navigation radar and measurements originating from IFF systems. The system detects and tracks all air and surface targets within its coverage area with reduced false trail rates using advanced trail initiation and continuation algorithms.

Features

  • Processing of more than 3500 measurements per second
  • Update and display of more than 1000 trails per second

Advantages

  • Real-time multi-target processing
  • Automatic target tracking in the event of strong interference
  • Clutter suppression
  • Self-adaptation to initiate and maintain trails depending on environmental conditions
  • Data fusion from multiple sensors (including IFF)
  • Increased ship strike capability and mission success through earlier weapon engagement thanks to timely automatic detection of fast-moving threats on water and in the air and faster response times.
