Numeric Engine Control System (SMKS)

We developed the low-level software of the numeric engine control system (SMKS) for Turkey's first indigenous engine developed for the Gökbey helicopter; we supplied the hardware and developed and produced the low-level software of the engine monitoring unit (MİÜ) and developed and produced the SMKS ground support and test unit.

SMKS, which ensures that the engine operates as desired by sending commands to the actuators that match the information from the sensors and the user's commands, is the entire system that comprises the engine's control and health functions. This system, which will reduce dependence on foreign countries for the manufacture of aircraft engines, is being developed for the first time using national resources.
